Home Independence

This program allows us to assist individuals with visual impairments who are learning to function safely and independently in the home environment, despite diminished vision with the assistance of adaptive aids and alternate strategies. Trained home independence visitors help to mark appliances, check stairs and rugs, and make other suggestions.
